So, was hoping to be fully recovered...but alas, my head is pounding from sinus pressure, my chest hurts from all the coughing, and my eyes are pounding when I look at a screen.
Add to that, Lady R is still fighting this damn flu. We're a mess. Going to try and knock it out with some more rest, meds, and hope.
Sorry, guys, this flu SUCKS balls and won't go away. Friends of ours who have had it had it last 10+ days. I'm on day 8, hoping to beat the double digit odds.
When I return (should be tomorrow) we're going through this SCOTUS 14th amendment decision and laughing about how cool and right I am and how dumb Sotomayor is.

My florida trip has been...bittersweet. had a great time with Lady R and the kiddos and my parents, but yesterday, we got the unfortunate news that Sunni passed away.
She was being watched at a friend's house who has cared for her before and got into a toxic substance.
Kind of killed the mood of the trip, and it will really suck getting home and not having her there.
I'm not the biggest fan of owning dogs, but she was a good, sweet dog and was loved by all of us.
I'll be home tomorrow and hopefully streaming, travel issues and weather permitting.
