Hey, y'all. Life is so needlessly complicated. I have fallen away from doing the things I normally do and need to get back to some things.
I picked up this book in 2023, I think, from an antique store. It was printed in 1861.
It's a scholarly defense of Christianity, and particularly Jesus, from an emergent pantheistic movement in the mid 1800s.
It seems so interestingly specific and is such a neat snapshot of the difference in conversations of faith 140 years apart.
I am a broken record in saying thank you for supporting me through this. I've been working on my mental health quite a bit as I wait and prepare for these legal issues to reach a resolution.
I've also been exploring my faith. It's really sad to see what faith has become in the grift o sphere. There is no contemplation or substance, just screaming. Prayer is now boisterous and performative. Professions of faith and doctrine ring so hollow.
The public use of Jesus to invoke condemnation rather than compassion, or judgment rather than salvation, is sick to see.
I will see you all very soon.
Peace.
Been going through absolute hell. Sorry for the lack of show. Thanks for respecting my privacy.
I plan to cover stuttering john lawsuit ASAP.
