The third son of former far-right President Jair Bolsonaro was found guilty of pressuring US officials to impose economic sanctions on his own country. It was a bid to influence his father’s Supreme Court trial — with the elder Bolsonaro currently serving a 27-year sentence for a failed coup attempt in 2022.
